Bosh wants a max contract and rightly so, and Boozer will want something close to it (even though I don't think he will get more than $15-17 Mill). We should go for Amar'e in my opinion. He can play the 5 better than Bosh can and even though he isn't great defensively, he'll improve on the HEAT with our strict defensive system (just look at Beasley). He also wants a max contract. We can afford a max contract, Wade, and retain all of our player option contracts, etc. As for Beasley at the 3, no. Just no. He is gonna be a 4 and if anything else will sometimes play the 5, and that's it. We will not be able to afford both Bosh and Boozer if we want to retain Wade. When hes playing his best this year its at the 4 where he takes advantage of the slower 4s in the league. I see Mike as a PF and notin but that. Tell me what you think... I'm not a huge fan of trading Beas. don't get me wrong, i was last year.. but this year i've grown found of him and his playing abilities. he's a great player once given a chance. Who would we trade beas for? I would give Chalmers a bit more time to blossom.

I think if they sign Bosh they need to trade Beasley for a SF/C or PG. I don't see Chalmers as having nearly the talent of Rondo.. he hasn't established himself as a playmaking point guard, a deft ball handler, or a rebounding force like Rondo has. Chalmers is much more of a role player type. With Wade's reluctance to be a primary point guard, the Heat definitely need to upgrade at the position. I'd be happy if he turned into Derek Fisher. If he embraced that type of player to emulate, he'd be better off.
