Alright HEAT fans, as we all know, our HEAT drafted Michael Beasley with the second pick in the draft! Yes, we now have “A new beginning” Here is a little exert from Michael Beasley’s press conference today in Miami..
“We will never draft a No. 1 or a No. 2 again because we’re going to win,” Riley said. “There will be no more lottery picks, we hope, in your career, Michael. And I can assure you that we are on the right path with that specific goal.”
That’s right Pat, WE WILL NEVER draft first or second EVER again. We are now halfway done with our “Rebuilding”project. we now have the 3rd scoring option that we were lacking last year… we now have as scoring options (in order):
1. WADE
2. MARION
3. BEASLEY
Yeah HEAT fans I feel it now.. 2009 NBA Playoffs, HERE WE COME! all we need is to keep these 3 guys healthy and HAPPY and we are in it to win it! and then, this day keeps getting better and better, sure we didn’t get Rose, but we got the PG that BEAT him in the Final Four Championship game! we acquired the draft rights to Mario Chalmers! oh yes, he’s a legit PG. he’s not bad at all, he averaged 13 PPG, 4 APg and 3 SPG. and get this, he was 47% from 3-point range! we need this!!! I’m so exited for this new beginning with Miami. I’m going to be one of the first ones to buy a Beasley Jersey and wear it PROUDLY. I have always been a HEAT fan.. through thick and thin, i have always stayed with my team. now, for everyone out there that is like me, all the times this year with the heart-breaking losses, ARE GOING TO PAYOFF! the 15-64 Season, IS GOING TO PAYOFF, Wade being shutdown with 2 months of basketball to go, ITS GOING TO PAYOFF.
