90-89… so close but the misery hits 15
Fellow HEAT fans, you know how much this one loss hurts to us. but think about it, if it hurts for us, how do you think our HEAT warriors must feel like? They led this entire battle of the last 2 champions in the NBA but in the end, the defending champs came up on top.
The San Antonio Spurs came into this game with a 7-9 record on the road. Miami was hoping to help them go to 7-10 on the road. they were so close. in fact until the last minute of the game the HEAT and us fans believed that it was over. I already had the tittle of the post if they won. it was going to be “IT IS FINISHED!” but no, instead the tittle continues with the misery.
2 more games and we tie a franchise worst 17 game losing streak. okay now you guys might come and ask me what’s going on? they had this game in the bag but blew it in the last minute. well here are a few things that i saw in the game the went wrong.
Miami has at least 2 or more turnovers per quarter. my boy DQ did not play because of the flu. And the big problem was that we missed 10 of our last 12 shots. I don’t understand, with 1:31 in the 3rd quarter we led by 10 points, by the end of the 3rd we led by 7. and we still lost.
The spurs were very sloppy tonight, coming off a game played last night in San Antonio that was over at around 12am. they got to miami at 5 or 6 in the morning, so they were tired, you could see in the way they were playing. They were 5-24 from the 3 point line (that’s 20%) and they are the best 3 point shooting team in the league. But one place that they destroyed miami in was the Free Throw Line. They were almost perfect going 15-18 (83%). miami in the other hand was 13-23 (56%) from the free throw line. Tim Duncan had 30 points in the game. For miami, Mark Blount had 23 points, and Dwyane Wade had 27 points and 9 assists.
So us Miami fans must keep hope alive for the next game when they host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night at the American Airlines Arena!!! Come on HEAT fans KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!!!!
